We pair Electrons+ PEMF with traditional Hijama wet cupping — a combined session, not a standalone cupping service. Offered as part of our cultural and traditional wellness services, available in Prosper, TX and Naperville, IL.
Cupping's history stretches back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures — one of the world's oldest medical texts, the Ebers Papyrus, describes cupping practices in Egypt as early as 1,550 B.C.
We offer Hijama as a cultural and traditional wellness practice, disclosed as part of your intake and waiver process before your first session. It's offered alongside — not in place of — our recovery technology and hands-on therapy services.
Every session pairs Electrons+ PEMF with Hijama cupping — the two are done together, not offered separately.
Shared as individual client experiences and practitioner demonstrations — not a guarantee of results for any specific goal or condition.
A small preliminary study published in the Oman Medical Journal (Husain et al., 2020) followed 31 healthy adults through repeated wet cupping sessions over three months and observed changes in several metabolic and kidney-function markers, alongside a marker of blood vessel function.
A separate 2018 review in the Saudi Medical Journal (Almaiman) surveyed existing published studies on wet cupping and found reports of higher oxygen saturation and reduced lactate in treated tissue, alongside changes in a few other blood markers — while several other markers showed no significant change across the studies reviewed.
Both of these are early-stage findings, not conclusive results. The Oman study had no comparison group, and the review's own author notes that wet cupping's effects at this level haven't been adequately studied yet. We share this as honest context on where the research currently stands, not as a promise of results.
